Dish Name: Tharoi thongba

Ingredients:
1 Kg Tharoi
2-3 Potato's.
Mukthrubi Manna ( optional)
2 Bay leaves(tajpata).
Dry Red chillies.
2 Onion.
5Garlic .
Turmeric powder
Sa- Maroi/ Awa-Phadigom
Jeera
frying oil (refined or mustard oil).
Salt to taste.
get tharaoi atleast oneday in advance. cut both the face and deep in a vessel with water overnight. add 7gram of rice(grain) in the water. In morning put tharoi in chinghi for 10min. now wash properly in fresh water
cook in pressure cooker for 3-4whistle or 30min if not pressure cooker along with potato and red chilli.
Once its done, drain all the water
smash potato, red chilli along with ngari and add few water
Method of prepation:
Khang da tharoi do hanna ngou ro salt chaisillaga atleast for 10min. Do not forget to add salt here
atoppa khangda thao heiro, tejpata, maroi , tilhou,chanam, samaroi,mukthrubi mana ngouro
adugi matungda turmaric(yaingang) ,masala na chingba hapchillo aduga 2 min muk ngouro . now add smash potato ,redchilli ngari and water
Add tharoi, some more samaroi and mukthrubi and water to a lebel
cook till gravy becomes little thick and add salt to taste
Add coriander leaves(fadigom)
